He has three siblings:
1. Late Bello the husband of Wale (Mairo) the daughter of Ruwan Sanyi Abdullahi an his wife Wacci. However, he did not give birth. 
2. Late Daneji Alhaji Abdulqadir Yammama (he left behind 31 children, amongst who is the Danejin Katsina Alhaji Bello, Dr Kabir, Alhaji Ahmadu, Alhaji Inuwa, Alhaji Umar, Associate Professor Turai Hafiz, Yarima Ibrahim, and Alhaji Nasiru, (the new SSA on Innovation)
3. Late Alhaji Sani (he left behind 13 children and SP Hamza

He has 7 maternal siblings 
1. Late Delu
2. Late Baba Sani (Maganin Gora, the father of Magajin Gora Sagir and Alhaji Faruku. 
3. Late Baba Tukur Kofar Gardi, the father of Justice Jamilu Tukur, and Alhaji Anas Tukur
4. Late Hajiya Indo the mother of Aliyu Namashi and Zailani Tijjani
5. Late Hajiya Hassana the mother of His Excellency Prof Hafiz Abubakar and Mahi Abubakar 
6. Late Hajiya Nunu, the mother of Iro ES, Hadiza Dandume and Dasuki Ibrahim. 
7. Late Baba Usman Mai-Nagari Kofar Gardi, the father of Nura and Sadiyya Lawal Garba Yammama.

His paternal siblings are 13 (males: Kogo Abdullahi, Alhaji Garba Dangoggo Alhaji Ibrahim Na-Yabiri, Alhaji Umar Cajinas, Alhaji Ahmadu Nashehu, Alhaji Usman Dansarai, Alhaji Yusuf Audi.
Females: Hajiya Halima Magajin Kafur, Hajiya Yalwar Tanwa, Hajiya Aisha Yar Malam, Hajiya Hanne Faskari, Hajiya Hurera and Rabi. 

Maternal grandmother, Halima (Are) has three siblings as follows:
1. Maimuna (Mune) the mother of Alhaji Aluwa, Husaina and Alhaji Gambo Na-Yarsarka
2. Mai Zane, the mother of Ladi the mother of Bako and the grandmother of Alhaji Sani Bakoand Ilya the father of Atta.
3. Cimande the mother of Malam Tabari

He had four wives (Ramatu Andadawo, Asmau Yarkwasai, Sale and Hassu) to whom he was married 1940-1949.
He lived with all of them to the end of his life when he died in a road accident travelling from Malumfashi to Kafur in 1987 along with two of his wives (Hajiya Yarkwasai and Hajiya Sale) his senior wife (Hajiya Andadawo) died in 2002. It is now only Hajiya Hassu that is still alive at the age of 87 living in Katsina.

He gave birth to 17 children in all. Only seven are still alive (Alhaji Tijjani, Dr. Halima Adamu, Ladidi Kabir Yammama, Turai Yusuf Rabe, Asmau Zayyana, Magajiya Mas'ab and Alhaji Nura).

Those that are late: (Hajiya Tumba Hada, Alhaji Faru, Alhaji Maikano, Umma Amadu, Yammama, Alhaji Bashir Maigoro, Alhaji Mannir, Mansir and thee others that died as babies, Abubakar, Laure and Zubaida) may their souls rest in peace. 

He was also the guardian to two of his grandchildren Zubaida and Jafaru, the children of Hajiya Tumba and Alhaji Hada. He also adopted children of some of his close relations (Binta Uwani, Ummaru Rabo, Mariya Kado, the wife of Galadima Nasir, Hauwa Anwali Korau, Jabba Kado, and Hauwa Kado) 

His Job Experience 
1. Health Sector (Worked with the Katsina General Hospital, he was in-charge of healthcare centers, of the Katsina Native Authority NA. He had stayed in several places including Malumfashi, Katsina, Daudawa, Batsari and Funtua. He also became the northern regional Health Officer in charge of Leprosy where he lived in Maiduguri, Jos, Kano, Kaduna, and Sokoto, and had toured all the states of the northern region, (Kano, Katsina, Borno, Sokoto, Niger, Zaria, Plateau, Ilorin, Kabba, Adamawa, Benue, Bauchi, Sardauna).
2. Politics: the first NEPU meeting was held in his house under the Leadership of Malam Aminu Kano. He became a member of the old Kaduna state House of Assembly 1979-1983 under the NPN
3. Farming and Animal rearing:
4. Electoral Officer in 1965 at Maradun in the old Sokoto state, now in Zamfara state.

1. Training on Hospital management with Dr. Nicholson at Katsina General Hospital 
2. Leprosy Training at River Uji, Enugu state in 1955.
3. Man'O War Bay Training at Kuru, Jos 1957.
